Is it possible to get a clip/segment of my DVD converted?
Yes. You need set "Start Time" and "End Time" to get the clip you want. It is on the "Click Movies" window. First of all, you should highlight the item. And then click "Clip DVD" button to enter "Click Movies" window. Play the video and preview it, then set the clip time which can be found on the bottom panel of the interface. For example, if you want a 3-minute-clip from the 10 minutes of the whole movie, please enter "00:10:00" for "Start Time" and "00:13:00" for "End Time". At last, click "OK" and back to the main interface to rip DVD.
The video files I obtained were too big for me, how can I convert DVD to a smaller video?
The bit rate decides video file size. Please highlight the file that you want to rip first and then click "setting" button to set the code rate lower, until it satisfies your demands. You can see the generated files' estimated value from the main interface.
How should I choose audio and subtitles?
Each DVD has different audio and subtitles, and you can match any two of them before ripping a DVD, for example, you can choose bilingual edition or English only by clicking the "Audio" and "subtitle" buttons in main interface.
How to accelerate the speed of DVD ripping?
1. Do not perform other operations on the computer. There will be a large amount of data processed, consuming intensive resources like CPU and system memory when converting. So it is better not to run other programs so that the resources won't be disturbed.
2. The higher parameter the video has, the longer time it needs. Turn down the resolution and bit rate to rip DVD can save you much time.
