IOV DVD Ripper Getting Started
Click “Open DVD” button in the lower left corner to load DVD.
Step 2: Select Output formatTick the files need to be converted and click anyone in the “Choose Output Format” to select your format.
Step 3: Rip DVDWhen you are ready, please click “Rip DVD” and wait for a moment to complete the task.
Highlight the file that you want to rip first, and click “Clip DVD” button to enter “Clip Movies” window. Here you can preview the video, then set the begin time and the end time. For example, if you want a 3-minute-clip from the 10 minutes of the whole movie, please enter ‘00:10:00’ for ‘Begin Time’ and ‘00:13:00’ for ‘End Time’. At last, click ‘OK’ and back to the main interface to rip DVD.
On the “Settings” window, you can modify video/audio encoder, bit rate, resolution and frame rate according to your needs. For example, please make the bit rate larger if you want to obtain a high-definition movie. We recommend iPod (480 x320) for 2000 KBS, DVD(720x480) for 3000KBS, HD(1920x1080) for 8000KBS. Please make the code rate smaller if you want to obtain a smaller movie. We recommend iPod (480 x320) for 900KBS，DVD(720x480) for 1500KBS, HD(1920x1080) for 3000KBS. Also, you can load the desired subtitles and audio track in the list from the main interface.
You can choose automatically shut down after conversion finished by clicking it in the “Settings” window. You can modify the output dir by clicking “set” button in the main interface; also you may open the output folder directly by clicking “open” button.
It is default to tick all of DVD files in the main interface after you added the DVDs. If you want to preview and clip movies, you have to highlight the file first, and make this line blue. But if you want to rip DVDs, you should tip the file and reject those needless.
